Earlier this month it was my grandma's birthday, on Cinco de Mayo to be exact. My Mom, being the thoughtful person she is, decided her Jess and I would go out to California to surprise her. It was so fun visiting with family and as always there was a lot of good food involved. The quick trip was filled with fun walks, eating, games and more eating.

And this is only a fraction of the food consumed but some of the best fried brussels sprouts I have ever had, still dreaming of them now.
