Isaac & Meg: St. George

We try and make it down to St. George every year to hike around Zion's National Park and visit my Grandma Gayle. Early spring is in my opinion one of the best times to be down in St. George and get some much needed sun after the long winter. As you will see in my pictures below we did not quite get the sun we'd hoped for. In fact, we got snow and rain, but we still had a blast and got some sun at the end of our trip.

On our way down to St. George we decided to take a detour and head to Bryce Canyon. This is where we ran into the snow, as much as I wanted a sunny visit, the snow made for some beautiful scenery against the red rock.

The next day we headed to Zion's National Park. This place will never get old for me. I love driving through and looking up at the towering red rock walls. We did the Hidden Falls hike, a steep but quick hike that has the most beautiful overlook of parts of the park. There were some parts of the hike that required us to hold on to chains attached to the rock due to steep drop offs, this had me all sorts of nervous.

The next few days were spent hanging out with friends at the Red Barn ice cream store, getting delicious smoothies, hanging out with Grandma Gayle, eating breakfast at Bear Paw, going to Snow Canyon and all sorts of shenanigans.
