Europe Part Four: Salzburg & Halstraat

Once we drove up to the B&B we knew it was going to be an absolute dream.

Just imagine the cutest little old austrian woman to complete the whole experience, I'm still regretting not getting her picture.

There was the cutest little market in the middle of Salzburg where we enjoyed these Amazing scones.

These are the stairs where Julie Andrews sings Do-Re-Mi...I freaked out a little bit...maybe even a lot a bit.
A little exploring in the gardens.

One of our days in Salzburg we drove to a little town called Halstraat.  It's in the mountains and they have one of the largest salt mines in the world.  We took a cable car up the mountain and went on a really cool tour through the mine.

This may have been just as scary as the rope swing in Switzerland.

Here is the entrance to the mine.

They had us wear funny suits because not only do you walk through the mine but you slide down big wooden slides!

Don't be too jealous of my get up.

Ok so this is a little blurry but these are what we slid down.

Salzburg was such a neat experience and we were so sad to leave.
