Halloween 2015

Halloween, and all holidays for that matter, are 1000% more fun with kids.  This year we went with a Star Wars theme and reused some costumes from a couple years ago.  It only seemed appropriate with the new Star Wars movie coming out and all.  Daphne was an Ewok and played the part perfectly.  She took on all the characteristics of an Ewok and even made Ewok sounds, it was almost too much to take, we are beyond obsessed with her.

We just went trick or treating to my Mom's house and a neighbor's house.  When we went to my neighbors they opened the door and instead of saying trick or treat (at least something that sounded like it) she just walked right in though the door like it was her own house.  The candy was difficult because when you put an entire bowl of candy in front of a 14 month old they will instinctively go for ALL the candy.  The concept of taking just one is unfathomable (can you blame them?).

All in all it was a successful Halloween full of good food, dancing, cool brisk fall walks through the neighborhood, homemade scones and of course plenty of candy.
