After many bathroom brakes (thank you pregnancy) and a flat tire, we finally made it to Tahoe. Our condo that we rented for the week was right near the lake and had the most beautiful view with a fun beach as well. After unloading the car and taking a trip down to check out the beach we were all starving, so Rachel and my mom picked up some Taco Bell for everyone (call us crazy, but it's my
family's favorite).
Disclaimer: I am about to totally overload you with pictures. Sorry, not sorry.

the struggle's real people
The next day was Sunday so we got ready and headed to church, Daphne always loves church with all the Aunties, so much more exciting. Afterwards, we headed home to change and went for a hike to a look out point above King's Beach with some of our California cousins. I am always amazed of how beautifully blue Lake Tahoe is. After MANY pictures with cousins and everyone we headed down to check out the place my Grandma and Bob were staying in. It was the cutest little place RIGHT on the beach with a gorgeous view. That night we had dinner back at our place with everyone and enjoyed the tastiest pork tenderloin and garlic noodles on the back patio. Also, Katie came back from Patagonia and met us in Tahoe! It was so fun to have all the sisters together!

just a bunch of goof balls
Monday morning we headed to the beach! Daphne LOVES playing in the sand and could be outside ALL day long. It was SO windy that day so my mom, dad and some of the sisters got the Hobie Cat out for some good sailing. The winds were really howlin' so they were able to get some great sailing in. We hung out at the beach all day, and some of us paid for it severely (luckily Daphne and I were spared, thank you sunscreen).

Tuesday was also spent at the beach with more high winds and great sailing. Later that day, more cousins came and we got some really fun family pictures. We don't hardly see our aunts, uncles and cousins from California so it's always a party when we all get together.

as you can only imagine, this didn't end well
Wednesday we headed to the Nevada side of the lake to Sand Harbor Beach, one of our favorites. The sand is so nice and the water is so clear that you feel like you are in the Caribbean. We swam in the lake, paddle boarded out to the rocks, enjoyed the beach and ate some delicious soft serve ice cream from a restaurant right on the beach. After the beach we headed home to enjoy a delicious home cooked dinner and played a very intense game of 313.

she could have played on this beach for forever!
